Production Part
Approval Process (PPAP)
Making it right the first time. Every
time. Our sales department initiates all new programs at a New Product
Quality Planning Team Meeting. The team is composed of representatives from all
departments: quality assurance, engineering, tooling, manufacturing,
laboratory, and executive management.
This starts the process of print
review and the development of pre-launch APQP documentation ensuring all
customer criteria are reviewed prior to the tooling build.
The customer
is supplied with a PPAP book with the initial sample shipment allowing for
production validation. The package also includes all required APQP
documentation and product validation reports.
Quality Management
System (QMS)
Striving for perfection. Every time. Park
Nameplate tracks key plant metrics to established goals, including customer
satisfaction, PPM performance, delivery performance, internal scrap, returned
goods performance, and sales performance. Corrective actions are issued for all
appropriate customer and internal concerns.
TOPS, Ishikawa Cause &
Effect, decision matrix, pareto analysis, and mistake-proofing are just a few
of the advanced problem solving techniques we employ.
A bi-weekly
Quality Improvement Meeting is held to review open corrective and preventive
actions, plant performance metrics, internal audits, lessons learned and
continuous improvement activities. |
